ICE: Nature's Creation Affected by Man

This collection of photographic works were taken during an expedition to South Georgia and the Antarctic Peninsula. They show the amazing beauty and variety of ice forms, shapes and textures. Ice can exist for thousands of years and disappear in just seconds. It appears fixed and hard but can change shape according to wind, water and temperature. 

Dramatic pictures of glacier walls, cracking and splitting under inexorable forces of heat and water remind us of how fragile life is and how nothing should be taken for granted. Every one of us is responsible for these impacts and we need to find sustainable ways of preserving our planet. There is no alternative.
